Parking & transport

Car Parking
There is a small parking area at the start of the walk but preferred alternatives are as follows:

Babraham Road ‘Park and Ride’ approximately 1.5km from the starting point.

Magog Down car park (free) and Wandlebury car park (charge), both approximately 3km from the start. From these car parks it is possible to walk through Wandlebury Country Park to the Roman Road.

Car parking is also available in villages on or near the route, including Fulbourn and Balsham.

Public Transport
There are frequent bus services from Cambridge City centre to the Babraham Road Park and Ride – for more information see: www.cambridgeparkandride.info/

Citi1, Citi2 and Citi7 buses serve Addenbrooke’s Hospital, from which it is possible to walk to the start of the walk (approximately 2.5km).

Stagecoach Bus Service 13 from Cambridge to Haverhill stops at Wandlebury. Bus Services 16 and 17 serve Fulbourn and Service 16 continues to Haverhill via Balsham, West Wratting, West Wickham and Withersfield.
